If you’re looking to get dressed up and have a little fun on campus while making a big difference, consider attending Delta Zeta’s 3rd Annual Green Gala event this weekend at the University of Tampa.
The sorority Delta Zeta is hosting the gala on Sat. March 23 to support The Starkey Hearing Foundation, an organization that does research for and provides hearing aids to hearing impaired children in need throughout the world.
Delta Zeta philanthropy chair Melissa Guarino explains, “It’s our national philanthropy. [The Starkey Hearing Foundation] is connected with Delta Zeta all around the United States.” The sorority’s connection with the organization prompted its selection as the beneficiary of the annual gala event at UT.
The gala will take place from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. on the 9th floor of the Vaughn Center Saturday evening. “There will be a band, food, a silent auction, a raffle, and we’re going to have a fortune teller,” says Guarino. The event is promising and lively.
Tickets have been selling all week for the gala. All proceeds will go to benefit The Starkey Hearing Foundation.
